The Library at Seattle Pacific University provides students with academic resources, research and technological assistance, and study space. The library was first located in Peterson Hall, moved to Weter Hall (then known as Weter Library) in 1963, and relocated to its current location in 1994. This collection contains materials related to the administration of the Library, including budgets, statistics, reports and accreditation documents.

Established in 1890 with nine members, the Board of Trustees is the governing body for Seattle Pacific University (formerly Seattle Seminary and Seattle Pacific College). Originally, all nine members were elected by the Washington Conference of the Free Methodist Church. By 1950, the Board had the authority to elect up to eight members.
